Chilaquiles
I was one of four Latinos from Puerto Rico, Guatemala and Mexico visiting from Boston that could not stop raving about Mercadito. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the waiter, Jose. He knew the menu, inside out. To our delight, we ordered the ceviche mixto, green enchiladas, chilaquiles and huevos ahogados. Each dish should receive 4 stars, in our opinion. The drinks were delicious and the michelada superb. Mercadito lives up to its "flavorful and authentic" description of its food as well as its mission to deliver an elevated Mexican cuisine experience. Mercadito is already on our agenda when we return to Chicago. It was that good!
Brisket
I visited a year ago on my birthday and had the brisket tacos. I've never tasted something so delicious in my LIFE! I've been talking about it since! I'm in the car now on my way back a year later for my birthday again.
Carne
We visited from Toronto for our Anniversary and had the guacamole and Carne tacos. They were delicious with such an amazing flavour! Would definitely order again!
little market salad
I got this delicious salad with some grilled chicken and it was delicious. I also got a side of plantains and tossed them in for some extra sweetness. Service was excellent. No wait. Nice little patio out front and swanky vibe inside. Can't wait to go back!

Pescado
The best fish tacos everrrrr! Trust me. Grilled perfectly and the aioli so delicious. I had to ask for extra! The flavors were so addictive. Their salsas, their chips... to die for! Let me tell you about their drinks.... Fresh, strong and super duper yummy! Dangerous;). The Pepino El Pyu and The Little Market are my go to's. The Michelada mix they have is like no other!! Mercadito is a must several times over! Ambiance and music very good. Bartenders super friendly and accommodating. A+++

Mango
We took our 3 girls to dinner on Saturday night. Amazing food!! We struggled to choose a number one, but if we went again, we would definitely eat: -mango guacamole -brisket tacos -lobster tacos- -Al pastor tacos All amazing! Mock tails were every bit as good as the actual cocktails. Thanks for pampering us!
Carne Asada
The best tacos I have ever had! The meat was so great. Seasoned perfectly and melts in your mouth! 10/10
